Dream Room Paint Research
Here is where you will research paint, including texture and color for your client's dream Room.er accessories.
Below is a sample of how your Slide #6 - Paint Slide should look in your Proposal file.
Paint
Below you will find the link to Lowe's Home Improvement website. When you are deciding on paint for your dream room, you will need to select paint texture and paint color.
PAINT TEXTURE:
1. When you click on the link below you will see that you have five choices. They are all Paint and Primer in one. However, the texture is different. Make sure that you decide how shiny you want your walls before you select a texture.
NOTE: I have samples of the different textures at my desk.
2. Once you decide on a texture, you will need to copy that paint bucket picture to your Proposal Paint Slide. Make sure that you copy the link and link it to the picture so that I can click on the picture and will be taken to the actual screen to purchase the paint.
3. You need to look at the specifications of the paint to see how much square footage one gallon of paint covers so that you can calculate how many gallons you will need to purchase based on the total area of your walls. You will also need to calculate the total area of your walls as well.
PAINT COLOR:
4. Then you will need to decide on a Paint Color. Go to the "Shop by Color Family" and click on a particular color family you would like to see.
5. Once you find a color that you would like to paint your walls, you need to copy the picture of the paint to your Proposal Paint Slide. Type the name of the Paint Color below the picture in your slide.
NOTE: DO NOT INCLUDE THE COST: JUST THE PICTURE OF THE COLOR!!!!
